In order to satisfy the requirements of Professor Colker's course on the Law of Disability Discrimination, students are asked to undertake detailed examinations of the accessibility of various locations on the Ohio State University Campus. After they complete these studies, they are then given an opportunity to achieved a mediated resolution with university officials. Many positive changes have been made with respect to the accessibility of the OSU campus as a result of the work of these students. The following documents represent some of the studies that were completed by the students in two different calendar years. These studies are presented in a variety of formats including PDF, Microsoft Word, and WordPerfect. All studies presented here were written by law students and do not necessarily represent the views of Professor Colker, the College of Law, or the Ohio State University. The description of these sites is also time sensitive; many of the problems noted by the students have been subsequently corrected.
Please contact Professor Colker if you are interested in conducting such studies on your own campus, or elsewhere.

- Professor Colker uses a simulation involving the law school's auditorium to help the students think creatively about solutions to accessibility problems. The simulation provides common information to both parties as well as private information to both parties.
